Fibertec IHS staff has combined experience of over one hundred years. Our State of Michigan accredited asbestos building inspectors, asbestos project designers, asbestos management planners and asbestos contractor supervisors can assist you with any asbestos project from inspection to air monitoring and project management.
Our staff also maintains State of Michigan accreditation as Lead Paint Inspector/ Risk Assessors. Using our EDAX MAP-4 X-ray fluorescence (XRF) devices our staff can conduct HUD level paint inspections and risk assessments throughout Michigan.
Our staff of industrial hygienists and industrial hygiene technicians are also trained, equipped and capable of sampling industrial, commercial, institutional and residential environments for known or unknown chemicals or other contaminants. Using calibrated sampling equipment and appropriate NIOSH methods our staff routinely samples atmospheres and conducts representative exposure monitoring for regulated and unregulated compounds.
Once data is returned from the laboratory, calculations of employee exposure are made along with recommendations to reduce employee exposure.
