Petroleum Analytical Services
Fibertec's primary clientele is the environmental consulting industry.
To this group, we provide Analytical Laboratory, Geoprobe and Environmental
Drilling Services. The Analytical Laboratory also provides wastewater
sampling and analytical services to industrial facilities to assure compliance
with local, state and federal monitoring requirements. Our subsidiary, Fibertec Industrial
Hygiene Services, Inc. (Fibertec IHS) provides Asbestos, Lead,
Mold, Indoor Air Quality, and Industrial Hygiene testing, training and consulting services.
Analytical Laboratory
Our Analytical Laboratory is located in a custom-built 17,000 square foot facility at 1914 Holloway Drive Holt, Michigan 48842. Within the building are seven individual specialized laboratories designed to meet the stringent requirements of our clients. Our goal is to provide high quality rapid turn around analytical services at a reasonable price.
Fibertec's analytical laboratory is one of the best-equipped laboratories in the State of Michigan. We have designed our laboratory and our laboratory facility to assure optimum operating conditions, maximum redundancy in equipment, and stringent analytical procedures for environmental analyses. We maintain a rigorous quality assurance/ quality control (QA/QC) program and are enrolled in a variety of performance evaluation programs to assure the quality of the data we provide to our clients. We provide a full spectrum of analytical procedures in laboratory rooms specially designed for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), Semi volatile Organic Compounds (SVOC's), Metals, Wet Chemistries, and Sample Preparation.
Our laboratory staff can help coordinate sample pick ups, bottle orders, provide quotes, and help you decide what glassware is needed for your project. We pride ourselves on our ability to service our customers and look forward to helping you with your analytical needs.
Geoprobe
Fibertec has one of the largest fleets of Geoprobes in the Midwest with seven operating units, including three all terrain units and three with hollow stem auger capabilities. We are currently booking up to six probe jobs per day with a staff of twelve geoprobe operators and assistants, most of whom have multiple years of experience probing.
Our geoprobes perform continuous and discreet soil sampling, dual tube sampling, and a variety of groundwater sampling techniques including temporary and permanent well placement, piezometer placement, soil gas sampling, and remediation injection (Oxygen Release Compound or equivalent).
All of our Geoprobe operators possess current Hazwoper training, Medical Monitoring, which includes drug screening, and a Commercial Drivers License.
Our rigs each mobilize with a fully equipped Decontamination Trailer or support truck containing a Steam Cleaner, Generator, and drums to containerize spent wash-water.

Fibertec Industrial Hygiene Services, Inc. (Fibertec IHS) is located within our 17,000 square foot facility located at 1914 Holloway Drive Holt, Michigan, 48842.
Fibertec IHS operates two distinct laboratories with segregated air handling systems, negative pressure rooms and a host of specialized analytical equipment to ensure the highest quality analyses for our clients samples.
Petroleum Analytical Services
With the addition of our Cadillac Laboratory, Fibertec has gained experienced laboratory personnel and analytical equipment related to the petroleum industry. We conduct several Gas Producers Association (GPA) methods for the analysis of natural gas and petroleum products.
