Our History
Fibertec, Inc. was established by Matt Frisch in 1987. Over
the years it has become a specialized provider of high quality
environmental services, adding Analytical Laboratory Services
in 1990 and Geoprobe and Environmental Drilling in 1992. The
Industrial Hygiene services have diversified over the years
and currently provide Indoor Air Quality, Mold, Lead and other
Environmental Hygiene testing and consulting services. In
January 2003, the Asbestos and Environmental Hygiene
Department became a subsidiary of Fibertec, Inc. as we
inaugurated Fibertec Industrial Hygiene Services, Inc.
Fibertec currently employs close to 50 people at three locations. Our Headquarters,
Analytical Laboratory and Industrial Hygiene operations are located at 1914 Holloway Drive in Holt,
Michigan. Our Geoprobe and Drilling operations is located at 11766 Grand River Road in Brighton,
Michigan, and we operate a satellite operation in Cadillac, Michigan. With these offices we offer our
clients one-stop shopping with a variety of services that improves the ease in which projects are conducted.
We are widely regarded as one of the premier quality providers of services to the Environmental Industry
throughout Michigan and parts of the Midwestern United States.
Our firm has worked on thousands of environmentally impacted sites, drilling, sampling and analyzing
samples while offering technical assistance as needed. The list of example projects includes projects
ranging from private residential sites to Federal Superfund Sites and everything in between.
